Usborne Books have a fantastic range available for this Christmas from stories to craft books. Each one of their books are filled with clear photos and text making it easy for children to read and use. We were lucky enough this year to be sent two great Christmas gifts.
One of the gifts we were sent was a great pack of activity cards for children to doodle on. The pack comes with 50 cards with hundreds of opportunities for children's doodling and a wipe clean pen. Doodles include giving the daddy penguin a baby to look after, adding birds to wintery branches and decorating a street with Christmas lights. P enjoyed sitting with this pack while watching a christmassy movie. Each time she completed a card she was so proud of her self, a great thing about these cards is that they a simple and quick to complete but once wiped clean you can try your own designs. One thing these cards will be great for is keeping the children occupied while you prepare for Christmas or even as a Christmas stocking gift.
The other gift we were sent was a fantastic Babys board book. Little man ahas a little basket full of books but none have yet grabbed his attention like this book, which I must say is because it is a touchy feely book. The pages are very clear and bright. P has just started to learn how to read and loves that she can read most of the words in the book to her brother. The book is great for getting you in the Christmas mood and would again make a great stocking filler. Through out the story you search for the authors donkey on each page they point out different features on the donkey like their blanket, ears, hooves and how they are not quite right.
